Sampsa Auvinen

Sampsa Auvinen is the Chairman of the UB FIGG advisory board. He has held the position since the founding of the Fund. 

Experience

Sampsa is a board professional with more than 25 years of experience from executive positions in the international mechanical forest industry. In addition to his position at the UB FIGG advisory board, Sampsa holds the position of Chairman at the European Confederation of the Woodworking Industries in addition to around a dozen other current forest sector board positions in Finland, UK, the Baltics and France. His past positions include the Chairman of European Organization of the Sawmill Industry and CEO of Norvik Timber.

Sampsa holds a BBA in International Business from EU Business School of Paris.
